'Metallic Moiré - Movement 1' 2006

While I was building a pool fence I liked seeing what happened when two or more segments of
pool fencing were set at an angle to each other. This lead to me making this sculpture.

At Palmer the ever present wind creates gentle oscillations in the work, adding an element
of chance to the piece. If one drives by the piece it looks alive as the patterns move.

180cm tall, 250cm wide and 30cm deep.
