From October 22nd until December 3rd Rick will be exhibiting a new sculpture titled ‘Aim High’ at the Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition in Melbourne’s Yarra Glen.
Rick is the first South Australian sculptor ever to participate in this exhibition.
Rick’s sculpture Silent Embrace was exhibited earlier this year at The Montalto Sculpture Prize in outer Melbourne.
Silent Embrace has now been accepted for exhibition at Sculpture by the Sea in Sydney from November 2nd until the 19th.
Over 400,000 people visited last year’s Sculpture by the Sea exhibition. This year 110 sculptures were selected from over 500 applications from Australia and overseas. Silent Embrace is the only sculpture selected this year from South Australia.
From August 4th until August 20th Rick will be exhibiting several sculptures designed especially for outdoor garden installation at The Perfumed Garden, 559 Portush Road, Glenunga, SA.
Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. SALA is the South Australian Living Artist Festival with over 1000 SA artists participating this year.
